Bought it for dead hangs to help my lower back. Feels completely secure at full body weight. My chiropractor recommended I keep using it.

Customer photo review of Doorway Pull-Up Bar

I'm a college student with a very tight schedule that I have to stick with so going to the gym and paying for a membership is very time consuming and something I'd rather not do. However I have this bar at my parents home and bought another pull-up bar (different brand) to use currently while in school but they're essentially the same.

I was a little timid doing my first pull-ups but that quickly vanished after noticing how stable it was. I'm 185 pounds so I'm not the heaviest guy out there, but I don't doubt that it could support up to its advertised weight limit (300 pounds). The bar allows for multiple hand positions and is great for push-ups as well. It sits a little low for doing dips, but you can still get a little out of it even with limited motion.

As someone who is just getting back into working out, this is the perfect piece of equipment to add to my "home gym". The build quality feels solid, I am 170 lbs and normal use on this (pull ups, leg raises, dead hangs) feels secure and stable throughout my workout.

My husband is in LOVE with this new pull up bar. It was so easy to assemble and adjust with whatever doorframe. He put it on his closet door and does pull ups every time he walks in or out! The quality is great and the handles are very comfortable he says - as opposed to other door-frame bars.

I'm satisfied with this purchase. You get a multifuncitoning piece of exercise equipment for the price of a dumbbell. You can't go wrong with this. It works, and you can get a great workout on this thing. I've incorporated it into my warm-up routine. I will still use free weights, but this is a wonderful item. I can see this as a great travel item too. If you go on vacation you can turn any motel doorframe into a gym.

Customer photo review of Doorway Pull-Up Bar

I like this product. I am a female senior with a lot of low back pain due to arthritis, disk degeneration, etc. It is hanging from my door frame and I can hang on it. (I weigh 122 pounds.) It stretches my spine and feels good. It is quite sturdy. I think it would hold much more weight. It is also a good value for the money.

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

Feels very sturdy although we ended up with an extra piece, which was a little unnerving!

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

So easy to assemble in moments!! Hung it on the door frame between kitchen to garage, so I try to use it every time I see it. So simple to use, yet so powerful when I try to lift my 180lb body weight.

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

Convenient and easy to set up and remove as you like. fits any standard door. if I can figure out how to work it, you definitely should be able to as well.

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

Supports my weight which is give or take 160 lbs, fits perfectly in my small doorframe. Is very durable and doesn’t shake when user correctly. Just make sure your doorframe has enough space. Otherwise solid product

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

Don't hesitate to buy this bar! I keep it installed in my doorway (even though they don't recommend that because it could feasibly fall down at some point), so that I can take micro breaks from my computer work and stretch and do a few pullups to get some nice circulation into those areas. My strength is increasing and my pain is decreasing already!

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

Well made and sturdy bar. It's a temporary installation that just hangs on the door (and there's a little safety latch to help mitigate lateral/swinging movement). Luckily the physics work well for this bar for vertical movement so I'm not sure the little safety latch is necessary.

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

I appreciate the multiple grip positions that the pull-up bar offers, allowing me to target different muscle groups and add variety to my workouts. The foam padding on the handles provides a comfortable grip, even during intense exercise sessions.

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

this a great pull up bar that is very easy to install and assemble. it looks a great and you can get a good grip. it doesn’t feel like it would fall but it looks like it would fall if you tried to swing on it.

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

I got this 2 1/2 months ago, and I have used it daily since then. I have gone from just 10 pull ups a day (in multiple sets) to more than 50 pull ups a day.

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

I was looking for a compact pull up option for times I couldn't make it to the gym. I was skeptical of any of the doorway pull up models, but after reading reviews, I finally purchased this model. My skepticism was wrong. This model has proven to be very sturdy when used as the directions state. I have never felt any movement when mounted in the doorway, and the bar has not shown any flexing while I used it (weight: 195 pounds). I've used it for standard pullups, chin ups, and hanging leg raises. So far, I have not noticed any marring to my white door trim either. I recommend this bar.

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

As described. Fits my doorframe. Wish I could actually use it more!

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

Solid product but if you’re a taller person you may want to look into something sturdier.

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

i was really worried living in a super old building, but i've had no issues with this.

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

This works fine on smaller doors with thin molding. Our home has almost all doirs with the thick header molding so can’t hardly use it.

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

Love it! I love how it just hangs atop the door and uses your weight leverage to hold it in place so we can put it away when done. Very solidly built and you can adjust grip width so feel confident in training on it.

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

This is a great product. It's been used for about 5 months, with no visible wear to the grips or the door trim. No installation involved! It is very sturdy - suitable for adults and children. We only use it hung up in a doorway, though it is also designed to be used for floor exercises. It's used many times every single day, by my son who gets sudden bursts of energy and needs a quick, convenient outlet for them.

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

The adjustable width locking feature makes it easy to fit the bar securely in most doorways, and I appreciate that it can be installed without screws or any damage to the door frame. The horizontal chin-up bar is comfortable to grip and provides a variety of exercises that have helped me build strength in my upper body.

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

My husband loves using this when he works out. Easy and convenient to use and to place on the door trim wall. However it did create small black marks from the color rubbing on the wall. It is pretty annoying to see the mark on the wall on top of the door. I'm sure a lot of the same equipments are same. I decided to give this a 5 star rating because my husband really likes to use it and still have it, and he has no issues using it.

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

I'm a heavy guy, and it's quite sturdy (Make sure you use the little clip that goes in the top of your doorframe). One small problem is that if you want to do wide grip pull-ups, since the handles aren't protruding at all, you will frequently hit your elbows on the sides of the doorframe. Because of this, I'll upgrade to a wall-mounted pull-up bar. But if you don't want to drill into the walls, this is a great option.

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

This pull up bar works. I don’t see anything I could do better. It stays on the door. What more dose a pull up bar have to do.

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

If you're too poor or too busy for the gym but still want to get stronger, this is a terrific "home remedy." The top part rests above the lintel of your door frame and the bar itself is braced against the other side, across the posts. 30 inches or about 75 cm seems to be the limit before there's not enough bar to reach across. Make sure you have at least one foot between the door frame and ceiling for head room.

Doorway Pull-Up Bar

Bought this product a long time ago. It is still on the doorframe of our closet!
