Common Questions
Everything You Need to Know Before You Order
Can I use this on my left OR right shoulder?
Yes, the brace is designed with a universal ergonomic shape that fits comfortably on either shoulder. The adjustable velcro straps let you customize the fit, so one brace can be used on the left or right side.
How long does the gel pack take to freeze or heat up?
For cold therapy, place the gel pack in the freezer for about 2 hours. For heat therapy, microwave it for 30 to 60 seconds depending on your microwave. Always test the temperature before applying it to your shoulder.
Can I wear the brace while sleeping?
We recommend using the brace with the gel pack while you are awake so you can monitor comfort and temperature. Avoid sleeping with the frozen or heated pack inserted.
Is this one-size-fits-all or do I need to measure?
The brace has adjustable velcro straps designed to fit a wide range of body sizes. You can tighten or loosen the straps until the brace feels secure and comfortable.
Can I wash the brace?
Yes. Remove the gel pack first, then hand wash the brace with mild soap and cool water. Lay it flat to air dry. Do not put it in a washing machine or dryer.
Is the gel pack safe to microwave?
Yes. Heat it in short intervals and always check the temperature before placing it on your shoulder. Do not overheat the gel pack.
Do you offer a 30-day warranty?
Yes. Your order is covered by a 30-day warranty. If there is an issue with your brace, contact us within 30 days and we’ll help make it right.

Ice and hot packs sure have come a long way! This is another one of those super-soft-against-your-skin packs that is formed exactly in the shape it needs to be to cover the entire and neighboring regions. The straps are helpful, too. And to think how we used to struggle with the awkwardness of hot water bottles. This is SO MUCH BETTER. As always, I recommend you order two so you can always have one on standby.
Wow, this is a game changer! I'd been dealing with laying on ice packs and using pillows for better positioning to ice my /upper back/scapula area, and while I got the job done, this is SO MUCH BETTER!!!The large size of this specially designed pack allows me to put this on and cover my entire /scapula/upper back (one side) with just this one pack. It also covers my upper arm. The rotator cuff gets iced well along with the /scapula/upper back area I've been targetting. The weight of this pack is enough to give a little pressure so the ice pack forms to the body, without being too heavy. Once strapped in place, it stays put, so you can be up, sitting or walking around, and not worry about it shifting. This is larger than many other similar packs I've seen, and because of that, I am able to reap great benefits and cover the entire area I'm trying to target with just this pack. The size increases it's versatility. This should work well for large and small built people. I do not hesitate to give 100% recommendation for this ice pack.(Note: This can also be put in the microwave for HEAT therapy, yet I prefer COLD/ICE therapy and used it iced.)The ONLY thing I can see that could be a concern is if you don't have adequate freezer space to store this. Yet that would be a consideration for any specialty ice-pack.If you have a need to ice down this area of the body (or warm with heat), TRY THIS!!! I had no clue what I'd been missing out on until I did. This was a definite game changer for me, not only enabling me to BETTER target the area, but also allowing me the gift of not needing to be completely sedentary laying down while reaping the cryo-therapy benefits.
My husband is really loving this compress, it was very easy to just set in the freezer and then apply to his . He likes how the compress molds to the side and stays on without having to hold it. It can also be used warm, but he prefers the cold. Overall it is easy to clean and very comfortable to wear, recommended.
This ice & heat wrap covers a lot of surface /chest/arm area and I'm not left wanting for more whether I pull this out from the freezer after a workout or removing this from the microwave for more of a massage to improve blood flow and general comfort. I suffer from a previous injury (ladder fall) and ocassional frozen and this brings a great amount of relief when it flares up. In addition, the ability to use both sides of the wrap, one side with fabric and the other with a gel pack allows me to further customize the treatment of my . For me, its been a real lifesaver!
The ice pack fits comfortably under a shirt and feels nice on your skin. It was easy to walk around with it.Only downside is that it doesn't stay cold as long as other ice packs. But I love wearing it for as long as it lasts!
I bought to help with frozen shoulder pain. It helped so much. I do not use pain medicine. This helped keep inflammation down so that I can do physical therapy or just use my arm. The Velcro kept it in place and it stays cold for a long time. It hasn't got punctured even though I throw it around. You will be glad.
Worked great till the gel started leaking. Very comfortable. Lasted 22 months before it started leaking. If you have a cloth recliner make sure it's covered as it will stain.
Really like this. My wife wrecked her bicycle earlier this summer and we have been looking for an ice pack that would help her ice her rotator cuff, she tore some muscles there and has been in pain. We couldn't really find anything like that so had been using ice packs on a pillow behind her, this thing solved her issues and she can wear it under her shirt while she is working. She loves the freedom that this ice pack gives her and also the relief from her sore muscles. This ice pack is nice and thick so it will stay colder longer than some of the others we have tried in the past. Thanks for this great product!!!
It’s cold. Yay!! I’m 5’4” 130#. I wrapped the bicep strap around twice. The is tightened as far as it can.It covers the necessary areas for my frozen . What a pun!!!! It’s particularly good that it covers the front of the and much of the scapula. (Pain radiates to other areas)I keep my BodyMed gel cold packs in the fridge 24/7 rather than having them in the freezer. They are always ready to go and I don’t have to put them in the freezer for 3-4 hours when I suddenly realize I’m in pain. Hopefully that will work for this Tx.However, it only stays in place when held by sitting back on the sofa. I can’t get up and move around without holding it in place but then it isn’t really form fitting.I may keep this anyway because when I’m in pain I don’t tend to do much. Also, it may fit my husband who is 5’9” 170#. I’ll have him try it. He has a slight tear in his rotator cuff.I strongly urge the manufacturer to make a smaller version. This gender neutral one size fits most…. I suppose most women with this fit would return it. I think I’ll try it for a while. I do have to have help with the latch on the strap. My can’t move my arm to reach the latch at my armpit.
Easy to wear. Soft inner ( skin-side) surface allows continuous activity while icing down. Great for tendinitis relief. Really great when two packs used at same time for left and right shoulders.
My husband has been having to do a lot of reaching for work and it has caused him to have some muscle pain. He usually just pushes through or worst case he uses my heating pad. Heat therapy is nice but some cold therapy usually really helps. Anyways it is hard being able to do things with a loose ice pack on his , so this makes it even easier for him to be able to play his PS5 while resting and icing his . It also makes it very easy for him to move around and do things on his own if he needs to.Now the part that everyone probably wants to know, it did fit him and was simple to put on. I don’t know how big of a man this could fit but the attachments are pretty long and the strap is very comfortable. He is a 6 foot 4 inch 190 pound physically fit man, his and arm spand is massive in my eyes. But this worked really well and it fit him nicely. A little difficult to maneuver at first when learning it all but no that we know how to do it, it is easy. I will say the only flaw he talks about is how heavy it can feel. In a way it works though because it applies deep pressure to his sore muscles but he still says that after the 20 minutes mark, he is relieved to take it off. As a wife though, i think he just wants to complain because his hurts. In all I think if you or someone you know is suffering from pain in the or deltoid region that absolutely get this because it is perfect and secure for that area. More comfortable, more direct contact, manageable, adjustable, and is easy to store when not in use.
It was very heavy to use. Good thing about it is it covered the bicep area and other areas where the cold therapy was needed. Couldn’t use it much because it was too heavy for my already very sore .
I like that I can cinch the wrap onto my shoulder so I can move around with it. There is another strap around the arm which keeps it on snugly. Even when frozen it is still flexible and provides the cool relief.
