This chair was so easy to put together. I was able to do it by myself with the video and the instructions that were given. I work from home so I’m sitting down at the chair for at least 6 to 8 hours a day. I am slightly larger as well so comfort and durability are really important to me. I bought this model so that my cats could sit with me instead of being on my desk next to me and I am so happy because instantly my cats loved it. Easy installation, it took me less than a hour. Once I put it together, my cat can’t wait to jump on it. The size is large enough to share with my cat. I’m so excited for my new office chair! The installation wasn’t too hard, it took me about an hour and a half to set up this chair. The seat is wide and the armrests can be folded flat so the space can be wider. It’s comfortable when I crossed my legs. I have two cats but until now, they haven’t scratched it yet!

I bought this chair as I was remodeling my office because of its design and ability to relax compared to a regular office chair. What I'm most disappointed in is the arms. They do not stay up and in place - there is no locking mechanism for the arms so be prepared for them to be down most of the time. It is comfortable. It's nice that it locks in a reclining position and i like the leg rest a lot. If you are looking for a chair for posture - this is NOT it. It's luxurious but not fully functional. Wish I hadn't spent the money I did but it will do for now.
It's a pain in the arse to assemble.The written directions are no help watch the video. The arms are wonky and you have to mess with them for a while before they lock into place.

I’ve been using this chair for 7 months. I really like it! The armrests are adjustable and fold outwards, which makes it easier to sit legged. The footrest easily extends and retracts out of the way. This chair makes it easier to adjust my legs for comfort.
Am pleasantly surprised with this office chair purchase! It was easy to assemble and is a very comfortable and roomy chair. I almost always sit with my legs Indian style (criss crossed) underneath me or up and next to one of my sides versus allowing my legs to hang down to the floor like a normal human being, and a chair like this is a great solution. Granted, I'm certain it's not good, health wise, for my spine to sit in this position, but for those of us who do so unconsciously, it's nice not to have my legs squished in a traditional office chair or hurting because they are smashed up against an uncomfortable arm of a traditional chair.Lastly, I do agree with what another helpful reviewer already stated, "I do think they should do a better job of explaining the features and how they work in the instructions. The recline lock is in the height lever, so recline = in/out and height = up/down. The arms have to press inwards to release, and then you can push them out to the desired position."
So, I don't normally leave reviews, but I ordered this because I was tired of splitting a normal computer chair with a 25 lb. Jackaranian. I got this chair, and it fits us perfectly!! Only downside on my part is that I like a chair that leans back a little more easily, but if you are getting this to share with a pet, it's worth giving up for that extra space to sit back fully in your chair and have room finally!!!! Looks great! High quality, doesn’t squeak, very solid and stable! It doesn’t adjust as high as some chairs, but I’m 5’8” and at its highest setting it is fine for me. It’s not quite as comfortable as I’d hoped because the recline feature doesn’t latch where I want it to. I’m either sitting too straight up or leaning too far back, or leaving it unlatched and letting my body weight keep me reclined where I want to be. That adds strain to my back, though, so I wish it had more detents in the latching mechanism. Could use a little more lower back support as a result. The arms fold fully flat with weight on them so my smaller dog is happy to join me at my side, which was the whole point of buying the chair. Very happy with the purchase overall and the materials seem to be of good quality so far!

Well I bought the chair because I like to sit and the images had a cat in the users lap. I too have cats and they love this chair probably more than I do. The only thing is I wish the seat were deeper. When I sit , I have to have the foot rest pulled out otherwise I feel too cramped in the seat or my feet slip.
This. Chair. Seriously if you’re on the fence like I was, I’m telling you right now this chair is so great! Or if you’ve looked at literally every variety of chair like I have…You can give your brain a rest now lol. And if you like sitting criss- or alternate like me (fellow ADHDers?) then it’s truly perfect. I was nervous it wouldn’t be very stable but was blown away when it arrived and I sat down. I don’t write a ton of reviews but when I’m pleasantly surprised by something I figure others would want to know! Tracking has been a bit goofy, still shows undelivered but I got it the other day. It actually got here super fast and came by FedEx. So just some crossed logistics wires it seems like. The chair itself is a dream. Very well packaged, very easy to navigate the parts, all the screws and wratchety wrenchy thingy?? were in a big package labeled with perforated backs (think like a new toy but packaged like a toothbrush and not with all those godforsaken twist ties lol). Super easy and organized! The seat pieces had no scuffs, the material is so soft. Took me about an hour total to put it together. Would’ve taken less but decoding the pictographs was an adventure in some steps and trying to figure out how to click the legs in place was like one of those brain teaser puzzles at first. I would just stop and laugh like, “ok seriously lol what?!” But I finally got the first one in and it was smooth sailing after that. The chair is so comfortable. The recline felt stable. (Also, I’m 5’3” and about 215 lb for reference if that helps anyone!) The recline on this sucker will go back a good ways! Took a sec to figure out how to click down the arms and back up. But oh man, the past two days have been a dream as far as remote work comfort goes!! And I’ve had like 5 colleagues ask me to send them the link. So there you go! Here are some pictures of mine once assembled and the sad before photo of what I upgraded from lol. Buy it!
Positive: The chair looks nice, the way screws were packaged is very user friendly, the wheels and spinning function work perfectly, the foot rest works well, the criss function allows enough space to sit comfortably, and overall it’s a very comfortable chair. It is indeed scratch friendly as that was the first thing my dog did and it left no marks.Negative: The Instructions are tiny pictures without words or detail views. At times, it was hard to see how to assemble the chair exactly. Plus, there was an error in the instructions: the little screw on the side of the foot rest is in fact on the side of the lever, not the opposite side. The reclining function didn’t work immediately. First you need to turn on the nob below the chair (anti-clockwise). I had to wear gloves, use two hands, and use my body weight to be able to turn the nob. And I am strong. Anyone who doesn’t work out will need support. And then the chair still didn’t recline. It took until the next day for that part to „relax“. There’s also no details on the instructions on the use of any of these functions… Pull the lever on the side out to tilt back, push it in to lock (that function is supposed to work in 3 positions, it only works in 2 for me). I spent hours with product support. The chat bot is a complete waste of time in this case, as it immediately suggests returns. If your chair doesn’t function, Julymon only suggest to send you a new one and refund the old. They won’t send support for assembly and they won’t help take the old chair apart. Meaning - your time and work do not get reimbursed. You are expected to be okay with investing more of your own time to take the chair apart again and return it. The arm rests lock in the wanted position sometimes and sometimes they don‘t. This mechanism definitely needs some improvement.
I searched and searched for an office chair that would accommodate my client's wish to have a chair that they could fold their legs in. This one absolutely fit the bill. The arms lay down to allow you to sit legged. The leather like material is very soft and the chair is very comfortable. The height is perfect. My client loves it.
The chair ended up not working out for me, but their customer service was excellent, prompt, and they refunded the cost. Overall the chair is good quality (a bit heavy, but that’s to be expected), but this particular one was just faulty. I would recommend buying from them.
So far I’m pleased with this purchase. I have neuropathy which makes finding a comfortable position hard. I’ve tried a normal office chair, a cushioned living room type chair and now this. I love how wide it is and that the footstool can be pushed right up against the seat to make a good resting place for your feet while sitting legged. The arms do go down but you don’t need that to sit comfortably legged. Arms down you can put your leg on them but def not your full weight. I would not rec for a pet other than extremely small.The cushioning of the seat and lumbar support are not quite what I want so I ordered some cushions that I hope will give a little more comfort. Overall though this has decreased my pain / aches in my legs.Expensive but so far worth it.
